SDG Northlake, LLC provided $1.2m in equity for the development of the 140,000 square foot Northlake Village shopping center located in Charlotte, North Carolina, across from the new  Northlake Mall. The project was developed by SDG's long-time Charlotte based partner CentDev Properties, LLC.  Construction commenced in May of 2005 and was completed in 2007 and included an HH Gregg, Staples and Golf Galaxy.

 

SDG Real Estate assisted Pike in locating a new Buckhead site in the Lindbergh City Center development at the intersection of Piedmont and Lindbergh. This 9,000 sf garden center along with 17,000 sf of green house is designed to service the dense population surrounding the store. This store opened in September, 2007.

 

SDG Investments assisted Barry Real Estate in the acquisition of the 550,000 sf SouthTrust Tower in Birmingham by securing $11m in equity from VEF Advisors. Subsequent to the transaction, SouthTrust has been acquired by Wachovia and the building has been renamed accordingly. This is the tallest building in the state of Alabama.

 

SDG and partner CentDev developed Pike Nursery's first entry into the Charlotte market with this 8,750  sf garden center with a 27,000 sf greenhouse on 3 acres. Pike became the first retailer to open in the Streets of Toringdon development in the Ballantyne area of south Charlotte. SDG provided site selection, entitlement and development services. SDG also assisted Pike in the development of its new prototypical store. This development was completed in Summer 2006 and has been a top performer for Pike.

 

25,000 sf Northern Tool + Equipment developed on 2.8 acres in Snellville, Georgia. SDG Investments provided the equity for its long time partner CentDev Properties, LLC for this development. Additionally, SDG Real Estate was utilized for the site selection process. This development was completed in January, 2006. SDG Investments has provided equity for CentDev's Northern Tool developments in Georgia, North Carolina and Tennessee.

 

14,000 sf Eckerd Drug store developed on Jonesboro Road in McDonough, Georgia. SDG Investments and its long time partner CentDev Properties developed this and other Eckerd locations around Atlanta. SDG Real Estate identified the sites and handled all of the entitlement process. This development was completed in 2005.

 

SDG developed a new Logan's Roadhouse restaurant in McDonough, Georgia in 2004.

 

8,000 sf Family Christian store was developed in Independence, Missouri. SDG and its partner CentDev Properties developed this location in 2001 along with a similar property in Lafayette, Louisiana.

 

Three bay automotive facility located in Warner Robins, Georgia, was developed for American LubeFast by SDG Investments and CentDev Properties. SDG identified the site and handled the entitlements. This property was developed in 2000 and sold to an individual investor. This is one of numerous ALF's developed by SDG in Georgia and Alabama.
