B. Stanton Breon
B. Stanton Breon, CFA, CPA, served as a Director and CFO of VEF Advisors, LLC from its acquisition by Windship in 2003 until its sale in 2006 to its joint venture partner. He also currently serves as the President and CEO of Windship Capital Markets, LLC, an NASD registered Broker-Dealer specializing in private placements of real estate related securities, which he founded in 2005.

Mr. Breon was the Assistant Portfolio Manager for the inaugural Value Enhancement Fund (“VEF”) in 1992 and later became Portfolio Manager. VEF was one of a Portfolio of Equitable Real Estate Investment Management funds which invested and managed institutional investments in real estate. The Equitable funds were subsequently sold to Lend Lease Real Estate Investments. VEF Advisors was sold to a joint venture of Windship and Apollo Management in 2003.

During the 14 years that Mr. Breon was involved with VEF and its various owners, it grew to manage over $2B in assets. In addition to his management responsibilities, he was also in charge of the regional asset management team, as well as Hotel Asset management and acquisitions. He was directly involved with all aspects of the business from property acquisitions to investor relations, dealing with institutions such as Raytheon, Toyota, Toshiba, and UPS. Mr. Breon was also deeply involved in financing for the Value Enhancement Fund Series, arranging over $600 million in Portfolio financings and over $200 million in asset level financings during his tenure. Many of these financings were unique to the industry, including subscription-based revolving credit facilities and hybrid subscription/asset based lending facilities.

Mr. Breon joined Equitable Real Estate Investment Management in 1982 as a senior real estate accountant in New York. He moved to the Atlanta headquarters in 1984 as the Assistant Director of Corporate Accounting. In 1990, he relocated to the Philadelphia regional office, and was named Senior Investment Analyst. Mr. Breon was promoted to Director in 1992 and was responsible for property valuations, regional loan workouts and servicing prior to his responsibilities with VEF. He gained extensive experience negotiating and restructuring delinquent loans during this term.

Mr. Breon received a BS in Business from Towson University and a MS in Real Estate from Georgia State University. Mr. Breon holds the CFA designation and is a licensed CPA and a licensed real estate agent in the state of Georgia. He has also completed all coursework for the MAI designation. He is a member of the Atlanta Chapter of the CFA Society.

Mark A. Parker
Mark A. Parker, CCIM, founded SDG Investments, LLC in 2004 as the successor of MAP Ventures, LLC, the Atlanta based firm that he founded in 1998 which provides real estate brokerage, development and consulting services for a select group of clients such as Pike Family Nurseries and American LubeFast.

Over the last decade, Mr. Parker has been active in both the brokerage and development of commercial real estate on a national basis, having been involved in successful projects in Georgia, Alabama, Arkansas, Florida, Louisiana, Mississippi, Missouri, North Carolina, Pennsylvania and Tennessee.

Previously, Mr. Parker was with The Vlass-Fotos Group, Ltd., a multi-faceted Atlanta based real estate organization from 1988-1998. Originally as Director of Marketing, and then as a Vice President and partner. He was involved with development and leasing of shopping center properties in Tennessee, Georgia and Florida. He was involved with all facets of the development process including land acquisition, entitlements, design, lease negotiation, financing, construction and investment sales. During his tenure there, he successfully worked with retailers that included Eckerd, Pier 1, First Union, Winn-Dixie, Kroger, General Cinema, Target and Sears. Mr. Parker was also responsible for developing three 120+ room hotel sites in Pittsburgh and Philadelphia for a publicly traded hospitality company, which included very complicated entitlement issues.

Mr. Parker currently serves as president of the board of directors of the Georgia Tech Fellowship of Christian Athletes Chapter. He also serves on the board of Manna Scholarship Fund, which provides funding for inpatient treatment of eating disorders.  Mr. Parker is a past president of the The Marist School Booster Club, Touchdown Club of Atlanta, The North DeKalb Jaycees and The Decatur-DeKalb Young Republican Club. Previously, he served on the boards of directors of the Brookhaven Boys Club, Single Focus Atlanta and Kevin M. Williams Ministries. Mr. Parker is also active in the Christian Festival Association.

Mr. Parker has been a member of the International Council of Shopping Centers and  served on its Georgia Education Committee and on the Planning Committee of the Southeast Idea Exchange. He has also been a speaker at numerous ICSC meetings.

Mr. Parker has been in the commercial real estate industry since 1985 and earned the Certified Commercial Investment Member (CCIM) designation in 1987. Mr. Parker is a licensed Real Estate Broker in Georgia, Florida, Alabama and North Carolina.
