Name

SDG is short for Soli Deo Gloria, which is Latin for “To God alone be the Glory”. These initials are borrowed from the great composer J.S. Bach, who wrote these letters as his ‘signature’ on many of the over 10,000 pages of music that he wrote.

Bach also used the initials "JJ" near the beginning on many of his scores standing for Jesu Juva, or “Help me, o Jesus."

Bach obviously understood that Christ was his source of inspiration and life and recognized that all our pursuits should be undertaken to bring glory to God. SDG Advisors is proud to share the same goal.
